The 15th Virginia Volunteer Infantry Regiment was was organized in May 1861, with men from Richmond and Henrico and Hanover counties and fought mostly with the Army of Northern Virginia.  It is said that Catherine Heth Morrison first made this flag from her wedding clothes.
