The flag of Slovenia consists of three horizontal stripes of equal width. The top and bottom stripes are white, while the middle stripe is blue. In the upper left corner, there is a small coat of arms featuring a white mountain with three peaks. Above which are a blue sky and a golden six-pointed star. Beneath the mountain is a green field with two wavy blue lines, representing the country’s many rivers. The flag’s designers chose the colors blue, white, and red. The country traditionally associates them, and the coats of arms of the various regions of Slovenia also feature them.
